Our weblog is becoming a very popular destination for parents, teachers, home-schoolers and tutors.

Counting Worksheets
A new series of counting worksheets have been released by Math Worksheets Online.
An initial release of 20 worksheets features counting to 20 and counting to 100 have been uploaded to the members area. Members can download these worksheets in pdf format only.
These worksheets are great for children learning numbers, developing counting strategies, learning place value to 99 and developing strategies for grouping tens.

ICT - Student Skills Checklist (Grades 1-7)
The members and guests of Math Worksheets Online help determine what MWO creates. Extensive reader feedback allows us to create worksheets that are always warmly welcomed and widely used.
Sometimes we get odd requests from frazzled teachers - we recently got an email from a very frazzled teacher who needed spelling lists of all things - and since MWO is staffed by teachers and ex-teachers - we were able to help out a colleague, pronto. (By the way, members of MWO have access to these spelling lists...)
Recently, we got a request for a skills list for ICT. It just so happened that one of our staff members had created just a document for her own class and was more than happy to share. Hence, we release to members of Math Worksheets Online, a complete - grade 1-7 skills list which can be downloaded now from the members area in Ms Word and pdf formats NOW.
This student checklist can be used in ICT lessons as a student guide, teacher checklist or the basis of an ICT program. (See also: ICT worksheets available to members) It features an extensive list of skills from a range of ICT devices, programs as well as an extensive list of understandings, attitudes and ICT procedures (research, editing, drafting, composing, inventing etc...)

Easter Themed Math Worksheets

How to use our worksheets:
> As part of a contact. Read more about using worksheets as contracts here.
> Small groups. (Divide class into 5 small groups - create 5 different math related activities (making sure our worksheets is 1 activity and rotate each group every 10 minutes or so)
> As a supplement to homework. (Sometimes it's cool to organise homework based on a current holiday theme)
> Cut and Paste activity. (Create a large chart featuring a number of Easter egg baskets featuring numbers (answers) on them. Children answer sums, decorate the eggs and then glue them in the correct basket.)
> Create an Easter egg mural using decorated eggs from our worksheets.
Remember:
Worksheets can be used in many different ways to extend learning. They are not designed to be used only one way - remember to "deconstruct" worksheets - take them apart to use them in different ways to get different results...
